FAQs
| Q. | How will certification ensure quality of construction ? |
| A. | The developer agrees to follow good construction practices at all stages of work . Quality inspection teams of CIDC-CQRA check the quality at every stage to make sure that quality promise of the developer is fulfilled . There are close to 30 trades in civil and electrical side that are covered in quality audit . Every Building /Structure is evaluated independently . Certification is awarded only if all the criteria are fulfilled . On receiving certification the developer has to ensure that quality is maintained or else he stands the risk of de -rating. |
| Q. | Is it mandatory for developer to display certification ? |
| A. | It is not mandatory to display the certification and the developer has a choice to display based on his marketing communication strategy. However all projects enrolled for certification are displayed on CQRA website with their latest status for the benefit of home buyers . The developer is obliged to give the latest certification status in format prescribed by CQRA if he chooses to display the certification. |
| Q. | Does AAA+ certification for a project mean defect less construction? |
| A. | audit is done by method of sampling and it is not possible to cover every sq feet of constructed area. The audit process is designed to capture all major flaws in the construction process and reflects the overall quality of work . It does not include inspection of every flat . So AAA+ certification does not guarantee defect less construction . CQRA does independent flat wise pre- possession inspections for home buyers in partnership with CIDC for a fee. |

| A. | Any project has to go through min 3 cycles of audit to get AAA+ certification so earliest a project can get certified for highest rating is 9 months after enrollment .Also min of 4 trades have to be audited and qualify the highest grade. |
